How To Export Salesforce Optimizer Report

When you create a Salesforce Optimizer report, you can choose to export your data in various formats. These include csv, html, pdf, and xml. Each of these can be useful in its own way for further customization or import into another report.

Using the Salesforce Optimizer report is a great way to review your organization’s communication patterns. Some areas of your organization use different channels for communication, so pairing the optimizer report with one specific channel may help show where issues are occurring and how they are being addressed.

All four of the above reports can be combined into one file for import into an organization-wide campaign plan or reporting platform.

Click New Report

Next, click on the ellipsis button next to Columns, and then select Other.

This will bring up a new page where you can choose Other Columns.

There is a long list of columns that can be configured in your report sheet. Most of these columns are unnecessary, and some may even conflict with one another. For example, security labels cannot be exported as a column.

However, there are a few columns that must be present in your report sheet. These include General Cache Indexes, Security Indexes, and Data Model Indexes. Each of these has a corresponding command in the Optimizer Reportelement tab that can be used to export your cache index data into another column or database table format.

Select Optimizer Report

When prompted to select an Optimizer report, do so! An Optimizer report gives you detailed insight into your site’s performance.

By selecting an Optimizer report, you will get access to its data exports. These reports can be very insightful in helping you fix performance issues on your site.

Some reports are more important than others when it comes to fixing performance issues. For example, the Cart Speed Report is considered a more important report than the Order Filler Report.

When choosing which reports you want to use in your export, make sure that you have sufficient data for them to create a complete image of your site.

Specify the report parameters

When you run the report, the report parameters include a column for each attribute of the customer, product, or transaction you are tracking.

By default, these columns are called id, lowPrice, highPrice, and totalPrice, respectively. You can change these values however you want—for example, lowPrice could be set to $0 and highPrice could be set to $10.

To get started with reporting attributes, there are two attributes that commonly appear: customer id and product id. Both can be reported on using the same formula: * .

Customer ids are reported as integers while product ids are reported as strings.

Click Save & Export

After clicking save, your report will be saved to your salesforce account. You can now go back to any Optimizer report and open it up to see the changes.

If you made any changes to a section of the report, then those changes will show up in your export. You can then share or send this report to someone else to use as a reference on what areas of their customer are causing issues.

This is a great way to reference areas of customer that are causing issues in your marketing and/or advertising campaigns so that you can decide on a new campaign direction.

Choose the format of your export file

When exporting your report, you can choose how to format your report. There are three modes for exporting reports:

In offline mode, you cannot change the report data and only select one of the four export options. You can only export one model at a time.

In online mode, you can change the report data and only select one of the four export options. You can only export one model at a time.

In native mode, you can change the layout and alignment of the reports but not add or remove models or changes to exported data. This is the most flexible way to send your report because you do not have to limit how many rows and columns you have!

When working with large models, it is recommended to use native mode so they load more quickly.

Click Export > Finish!

After clicking the save button, a new window will pop up. You will see a count down until your report is ready to view in your Salesforce account.

If your report is successful, you will see a green circle with a plus next to it. This means that your report was exported successfully!

If there was an error, you may see a minus next to the circle. This indicates that the report did not export correctly and may need to be resubmitted.

Hopefully this guide helps you learn how to export the Salesforce Optimizer Report and can help you troubleshoot any issues that may arise during or after the export.
